I would really like to think of myself as a polymath, and I do have quite a breadth of knowledge, but if I am truthful with myself I need to call myself an “amateur” polymath, meaning widespread interest but the depth is lacking in many areas.

The good news is that as I write my various blogs, covering a wide variaty of subjects, I will do my damnest to make sure that (1) the facts are correct, (2) my opinions are well identified, and (3) my ignorance is acknowledged.
